Behind The Shiny Faces
Nobody is exempt, unless you're denying it so hard
Drama.
Conflict.
Fear.
Betrayal.
Boredom.
Plateauing or declining results.
Anxiety.
Depression.
Zero mojo.
And illness, including cancer.
I have come to know what these are precursors laying out the not so red carpet into our next evolution.
These precursors come in the form of stress, over and underwhelm to rattle and shake us up to get our attention.
If we ignore them they get bigger
and more unmanageable
until we feel like we’re spinning out of control.
And some people do
and will go to the doctors
believing that something is wrong with them,
not seeing that these are symptoms requesting your attention of an impending evolution.
They are requesting your attention to meet your blindspots.
They are requesting your attention to meet your thresholds.
If you pay attention, they hold an inherent promise that you’ll have more freedom.
And from this place of greater freedom, new visions will arrive.
Visions that captivate you, compel you, obsess you into the untapped abundance of who you already are and who you are becoming
and the impact that you are here to make,
starting at home with yourself, always,
and then onto others.
Because through this process your capacity to love and lead will grow.
And because leadership is always in inside job.
These symptoms are asking us to raise the stakes.
But we cannot do that by leading from the identity that created our reality to date.
We have to go through a time of renewal.
And if the promise you made to yourself is that you will give it your all in this life
then you cannot escape from this time of re-birth.
But instead surrender into it, and when you do, you’ll be shown dreams you never knew you had.
And you’ll experience results that you’ve not yet had the privilege of experiencing, not only for you, but for all those you care for.
